Your Love
Your love came down with the starlight
And took all the pain from my heart;
And you brightened my soul like the sunshine
When you told me we never would part.
Your spirit reached deep down inside me
And into the depths of my soul;
And you warmed me with sweet, tender loving;
A love that will never grow old.
Your smile gave new life to my spirit
I felt I was floating on air;
Then I lifted my eyes from my sorrow
And I smiled when I saw you were there.
Life takes on a whole different meaning
When you notice a rose touched with dew;
And now there is love all around me
And that love is a present from you.
