Sail on like the water
of a gentle mountain stream,
As it journeys to the valley far below;
And know that I'll be with you,
in every single dream
I'll be with you wherever you may go.

Sail on like the clouds
in the neverending skies,
So silent as they sweep across the moon;
You always made me happy
when I looked into your eyes,
You made my heart sing out a happy tune.

Sail on like the mountains
that tower far above,
With their peaks reaching upward for the sky;
Those mountains are eternal
like an everlasting love,
And so beautiful, it makes the angels cry.

Sail on, little Darlin'
Sail on forever more,
Sail on, through the sunshine and rain;
I know that you'll be happy
when you reach that peaceful shore,
Where there's never any sorrow or pain.

Sail on, little Darlin'
May you have a happy dream,
And keep your dreams, wherever you may go;
Sail on like the water
