Far Away Land
Over the mountains and so far away
There's a land where the sun shines bright;
It's a land where tomorrow is only a dream
And everything's peaceful and bright.
The breezes embrace you and comfort your soul
The warmth of the sun makes you smile;
You know in your heart this is where you belong
After roaming for many a mile.
The shadows are never around you
And the flowers are always in bloom;
You take in the joy of this wonderful place,
Like you're in some magical room.
We all find this place when the time comes
But sometimes it take us by surprise;
When we look at the face of that SOMEONE
And gaze into their beautiful eyes.
The rays of the sunshine fill us with hope
When we realize that we've found our dream;
We feel the sensation of peace in our hearts
Like we're close to a gentle mountain stream.
I'm sure that you know of this feeling -
This everlasting land I'm speaking of;
This land is never-ending, like a mountain,
It's the wonderful land we call 'love'.
